Maddie Wood

Maddie Wood joined the Herman-Taylor staff in July 2026 and serves as an apprentice funeral director.

Maddie was born in Wisconsin Rapids, but grew up in Lodi, WI, moving back to her hometown in her mid-twenties. She spent the past 13 years working at the West Grand Quality Foods deli.

Outside of work, she’s a proud pet parent to four cats-Butters, Babs, Gus, Irene, and two dogs, Penny and Rosie. She enjoys the quiet things in life like spending quality time with family and friends, antiquing, mother nature, and reading books ranging from science fiction-fantasy to classics.
