Eileen was born December 6, 1934 in Brooklyn, New York to James and Mary (Sheerin) Clark.  She married Philip Ziegler.  He preceded her in death on August 11, 1986.  She married William Scholzen on September 29, 1995 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids.

Eileen worked as a detention aide at Lincoln High School for several years.  She enjoyed being a homemaker, loved to cook and decorate her home, and have family over for the holidays.  She took great pride in having a clean yard where everything had its place.  She enjoyed feeding and watching the birds, even while constantly struggling to keep the squirrels away, and took in a pontoon boat ride every chance she could.  Eileen enjoyed spending time at the cottage near Galecke Park in Plover and special trips to Hawaii and Branson, Missouri where she saw Danny O’Donnell perform twice.

Eileen is survived by her loving husband, Bill; children: Thomas (Sue) Ziegler, Sauk City, WI, David (Cindy) Ziegler, Wisconsin Rapids, Ruth Ann (Thomas) Hellenbrand, Madison, WI; step-children: Carol (Jim) Wanta, Wisconsin Rapids, Mary (Scott) Sculley, Wisconsin Rapids, John (Mary Ann) Scholzen, Rhinelander, Michael Scholzen, Merritt Island, FL, Betty Scholzen, Wisconsin Rapids; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Philip, two brothers and a foster brother.
