William J. Stellmach

William J. Stellmach, age 87, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024, at Edenbrook of Wisconsin Rapids. He was born on October 22, 1936, in Wisconsin Rapids, the son of Jacob and La-Metta (Hopp) Stellmach.
He served his country in the Unted States Army from 1959-1962. William married Patricia Lau on September 18, 1965. Together they had 2 children Korey and Kimberly. William was a member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. He worked for Consolidated Papers until his retirement. William enjoyed bowling, hunting fishing, and reading. William is survived his son, Korey A. (Cate) Stellmach; his daughter, Kimberly A. (David) Gruen; his grandson, Jacob Stellmach and his granddaughter, Haley Stellmach; He was preceded in death by his parents; His wife of 58 years Patricia, who passed away on December 20, 2023. and by his sister Pat Reese.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the Herman-Taylor Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services at the funeral home. Burial for William and Patricia will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. The Herman-Taylor Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the family.
