Victoria Henke

Victoria L. Henke, age 84, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away Saturday, October 4, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family.

A celebration of life will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Heman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, with a time of family remembrances beginning at 1:30 p.m.

Victoria was born June 26, 1941, to Warren and Ruth (McKinnon) Lovering in Bangor, Maine.

Victoria was a devoted wife and mother who took great pride in caring for her family. Later in life, she worked alongside her husband at their family business, Henke’s Floors and Furnishings. A lifelong advocate for health and wellness, Victoria had been a dedicated Jazzercise participant since 1980. Family meant everything to her, and she cherished evenings spent around the campfire, sharing stories and laughter with loved ones. In her quiet moments, she loved to read, but her greatest joy came from tending to her garden, where she found peace and fulfillment among her flowers. She also found joy in crafting homemade greeting cards, which she lovingly gave to friends and family—each one a small, heartfelt gesture that reflected her warmth and creativity.

Victoria is survived by her loving husband, David, children: Catherine Henke, Cynthia (Sandon) Kallstrom, Daniel (Vera) Henke, Chris (Laurie) Henke; grandchildren: Amanda (Tony) Telschow, Chelsea (Brandon) Hardy, Benjamin (Asha) Wartgow, Melanie (Paul) Tlusty, Lindsey Engle, Lauren (James) Hennes, Jordann Henke, Morganne Henke, and Luke Henke; greatgrandchildren: Drew, Max, Zeke and Mia; sisters-in law Carol Jean (Jerry) Pundt and Marla (Richard) Adams.

She is preceded in death by her parents Warren and Ruth Lovering.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorials to be designated to the South Wood County Humane Society.
