Thomas P. Reshel

Thomas P. Reshel, age 52, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
Tom was born January 11, 1971 in Wisconsin Rapids to Glenn and Patricia (Pelner) Reshel. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids and furthered his education at Mid-State Technical College where he earned a degree in Electrical and Instrumentation Technology. He worked as an electrical and instrumentation technician at Verso Papers in Wisconsin Rapids.
Tom married Kimberly Anderson on August 22, 1994 in Wisconsin Rapids. The marriage later ended in divorce.
Tom had a passion for his favorite football team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, NASCAR racing (especially Dale Earnhardt), and golfing. He enjoyed his younger years spent with his grandparents on the farm and his ownership of his grandpa's truck. He had a special talent and ability in electrical machinery and components.
Tom is survived by his former wife, Kimberly Reshel and their children, Austin Reshel and Alyssa Reshel (Dezirae Schmude); his father, Glenn Reshel (Sarah); two sisters, Trisha Reshel and Tami (Thomas) Erspamer; and his dearest cat Poopa. He is preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Reshel; grandparents, Eleanor and Clarence Pelner; and dear uncles, Edward Pelner and Donald Pelner.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
