With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Mr. Thomas E. Nelson, a humble and resilient man, was born in Milwaukee, WI to the late Darrel and Margaret Nelson, Thomas, affectionately known as "Tom," lived a life rooted in simplicity and kindness.

Tom was a dedicated laborer in the construction industry, a career that spanned several years and allowed him to channel his love for building projects. His unwavering resilience could be seen in his work. In his retirement, Tom enjoyed the peace and serenity of his property in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, where he returned after his service in the US Army. His humble nature never sought accolades or recognition but rather found solace in the tranquility of nature and the companionship of his cherished feline friends. Tom's love for music often filled the air and added a harmonious soundtrack to his life.

Thomas is survived by his sisters, Katherine McPeters and Joan Reed, He was preceded in death by his father, Darrel Nelson, his mother, Margaret "Betty" Nelson, and his brother, Charles Nelson.
