Terry King

Terry R. King, age 77, of Port Edwards, WI passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Aspirus Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids.
Services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home, 2201 Chestnut Street, Wisconsin Rapids. Rev. Glenn White will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Terry was born February 12, 1947 in Kansas City, Missouri to Clifford and Cleo (Milsap) McDonald. She married David King on March 18, 1965 in Lansing, Kansas. They were blessed with 59 years of marriage and two children, Tracy and Lucas.
Terry and David spent most of their married life in Lenexa, Kansas, where Terry worked for SCI Electronics until her retirement. In 2016, Terry and David moved to Port Edwards, WI to be closer to their family.
Terry had a very strong Christian faith. She enjoyed crocheting and solving crossword puzzles. She and David loved traveling throughout the United States, especially in the deep south.
Terry is survived by her loving husband, David; daughter, Tracy (Alan) Heiser of Wisconsin Rapids; son, Rev. Lucas (Jessica) King of Indianola, IA; nine grandchildren: Jordan (Tim) Wogerman, Colin, Ramsey, Boston, Logan, Skylar, Max, Selah, and Hadessah; four great-grandchildren: Sophie, Grace, Gerard, and David Wogerman; and sister, Connie (Dave) Powell of Lenexa, KS. She is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of the staff at Edgewater Haven Nursing Home, the hospital nurses, and especially Dr. Dolly Myers for the exceptional care Terry received. They would also like to acknowledge all of her friends at Boones Saloon and the wood carving group.
