Susan Brundidge

Susan A. Brundidge, age 76, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born on April 6, 1948, the daughter of Wilfred and Lorraine (Leder) Schmidt. Susan married Richard Brundidge on November 25, 1967. They were blessed with 56 years of marriage. Susan graduated from Lincoln High School in 1966 and attended the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. She worked for 37 years in purchasing, transportation and research for Consolidated Papers Inc., retiring in 2006.
Susan loved anything to do with water. They lived by the water, enjoyed boating and fishing. They also loved snowmobiling for many years. Later, Susan became an avid reader and enjoyed time on the golf course with her husband Richard. They both enjoyed wintering in Yuma, AZ where they could enjoy the warm weather, golf and friends.
Susan is survived by her husband Richard; her son, Jeffrey (life partner Holly) Brundidge; 3 grandchildren, Matt Richmond and Luke and Samantha Heberlein; great grandson, Benjamin; sister-in-law Char (Jerry) Gullixson; brothers-in-law, Clay (Dottie) Brundidge, Rogers (Bonnie) Brundidge, and Pat (Edith) Brundidge. She is further survived her special friends, Linda (Herzberg) Altman, David Gray, Terry (Oligney) Ellis, Tom Ellis, Kerry (Toelle) Roldan and Arturo Roldan. They have been best friends for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Steve Schmidt; her in-laws, Charles and Teresa Brundidge; Uncles, Otto (Ruth) Backus, Robert (Nila) Leder, and Dave (Midge) Ethridge; brothers-in-law, Myles and Swede Brundidge and sisters-in-law June (Preston) Stengel and Jackie (Ery) Baflik
There will be no visitation as requested by Susan. There will be a private Celebration of Life held at a later date.
