Sharon Parker, 78 of Wisconsin Rapids passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025 after a brief illness.

Sharon was born on October 31, 1946 to Richard and Shirley Mortensen. On February 20, 1965 she married the love of her life, William Parker. They enjoyed 37 years of marriage until his death in 2002. Together they enjoyed bowling, camping and traveling. Sharon also enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles, but her biggest passion was for sewing and other crafting.

Sharon is survived by her 3 children Kristin (Scott) Herbert, Amy (Jeffrey) Wiessinger and Jeffrey (Kelly) Parker. She is further survived by her grandchildren Stephanie (Scott) Bassuener, Richard (Amber Polansky) Look, William (Kalie) Abel, Elizabeth (Ryan Bauer) Abel, Gabrielle Abel, Andrew (Freya Kopchik) Reis, Aaron Parker (Abby Towne) and Cassidy Parker, her great-grandchildren Parker, Eme, Charlotte, Liam, Logan, Kelsey, Sophia, Aubree, Mason and Morgan. Siblings Vicky Matts, Karen (Leo) Kelnhofer, Paul (Kim) Mortensen, Mary (Phil) Mlsna and Scott (Karen) Mortensen. In-laws Marianne (Les) Koch, Paul Parker, Phil (Pam) Parker, Joan James and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband Bill, parents, brothers Peter and Kenneth and sister Trish.

Services will be held at Herman-Taylor Funeral home on Thursday, March 20 at 11 am with visitation starting at 9 am until time of service. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery immediately following service.
