Sandra J. Drallmeier

Sandra Gaines Drallmeier, age 63, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away at her home on August 19, 2024.

Sandra was born in Memphis, TN on August 2, 1961, to Hermie Windham and Bobby Gaines. She graduated in 1979 from Penncrest High School in Media, PA and then went on to study media and journalism at Delaware Community College in Media, PA.

Sandra was a faithful employee of Ho-Chunk Gaming where she gained meaningful friendships. Prior to her work at Ho-Chunk, she fulfilled her life dream by working as a horseback trail guide for numerous stables in Granby, CO until leaving to care for her mother.

Her love for horses was second only to her love for her greatest accomplishment in life—her son Dylan. Sandra took great pride in her indigenous Mississippi Chikasha and Chahta heritage and was a native history and genealogy enthusiast. She was a great source of comfort and humor as well as an ardent protector to those she loved.

Sandra is preceded in death by her mother Hermie Windham and her father Bobby Gaines.

Sandra will be deeply missed by her surviving friends and family, especially her son Dylan (Brianna) Drallmeier of Wisconsin Rapids, WI and her siblings Greg Bogenpohl of Jacksonville, FL and Julie Apperson of Union, MO.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
