Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin
With profound respect, we honor the life of Ronald E. Kingman, affectionately known as Ron, born on May 8, 1953, in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. He was a man who embraced life, reveled in the joy of each day, and shared his warmth and kindness with all who knew him. Ron was a remarkable individual, a loving husband, a supportive father, and a steadfast friend. His life was a vibrant symphony of laughter, love, and care that will continue to resonate in the hearts of those he touched.
Ron was a man of many passions and interests. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as camping at Indian Shores Campground in Minocqua, jet skiing on the Ski Doo, and tinkering around his beloved home. As a devoted fan of the Chicago Bears Football, Dale Earnhardt in NASCAR, Blackhawks Hockey, and classic television, he always had a team to cheer on or a show to enjoy. His hands were never idle, often immersed in woodworking, crafting beautiful pieces that mirrored his resilient spirit and meticulous nature. He dedicated many years to Lamers Bus Company, where he particularly enjoyed transporting the UW Stevens Point men's hockey team to their games. His retirement from the bus company marked the end of a fulfilling career that he cherished.
Ron's radiant smile and infectious laughter will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Sandy Kingman, and their son, Jeff Kingman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Dolores Kingman, and his sister, Patricia Kingman. His memory will continue to be a beacon of love, joy, and resilience for his family and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at 1:00 pm CDT at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home & Cremation Center, located at 2201 Chestnut Street, Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. We encourage all who knew and loved Ron to join us in honoring his remarkable life.
