Roberta "Bobbie" R. Sparks Obituary (1963

Roberta (Bobbie) Sparks, age 59, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, December 5, 2022 at Aspirus Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids. She was born June 30, 1963 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI, the daughter of Harold and Dorothy (Allen) Roberts. Bobbie married the love of her life, Daniel, on June 30, 1990. They enjoyed visiting others, going out to eat and going to church. She was a member of the River Church in Wisconsin Rapids and was employed at McCain Foods for 39 years and 11 months. Bobbie's life was full of adventure, work ethic, lots of love and old movies! (Some she watched over 50 times) She had a laid-back personality, loved to laugh, loved to listen, and always found the good in people. Bobbie loved her work and those she worked with. She made friends easily and loved her family with all her heart. Above all things, she loved her Savior whole heartedly and is rejoicing with Jesus! Bobbie is survived by her husband, Daniel; son, David (Tiffany) Roberts; two grandsons: Gage and Jase Roberts; three sisters: Melva Smits (Wisconsin Rapids), Nancy (Chuck) McKenny (Nekoosa), Corrine Roberts (Lake Geneva); four sisters in law: Charlotte (Orin) Nigh, Helen Sparks (Wisconsin Rapids) Edna (Doug) Reilly, and Berdine (Ed) Leavitt. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; father and mother-in-law, Orris (Ila) Sparks; two infant children (Dillon and Angel); two sisters: Darlene Roberts and Karen Wegner; four brothers in law: Cliff Smits, Gerald Wegner, Oliver and Dexter Sparks and one sister-in-law, Jean Rhoda. Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Herman-Taylor Funeral home in Wisconsin Rapids. Burial will be at Plainfield Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
