Michael Neidlein

Michael Neidlein, age 64, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at home. He was born on January 17, 1960, in Heidelberg Germany, the son of John and Rita (Heitz) Neidlein.
A Celebration of Mike’s life will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Herman-Taylor Funeral Home. Lunch to follow visitation at Kellner Club.
Mike graduated from Lincoln High School in 1978. He married Pamela Spohn on May 24, 1986. Mike loved spending time outdoors, enjoying camping, fishing, riding his Harley, shaking dice, and drinking Miller High Life. He also enjoyed all things sports related, especially NASCAR, but most of all he loved his family and friends. His grandchildren were very important to him, and he loved to play jokes on them.
Mike will be deeply missed by his wife of 37 years Pamela; his sons, Michael (Heather) Neidlein Jr., Jeremy Neidlein, and Mathew (Cassie) Neidlein; grandchildren, Brandi, Kayla, Tyler, Corbin, Travis, Nolan, and Clayton; brothers, Steve (Mary) Neidlein and Charles (Lisa) Neidlein; sister Patty (Mark) Lutz. He is further survived by his brother-in-law Charlie Spohn and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Rita Neidlein.
The family would like to thank the Wood County Sheriff’s department, EMS personnel, and Herman-Taylor funeral home for the care they gave Mike and his family.
