Michael G. Lincicum Obituary (1958

Michael G. Lincicum, age 66, of Madison, Wisconsin was called home to his heavenly father on August 27, 2024. Mike was the 6th child of nine born to Kenneth and Clara Lincicum on March 22, 1958. He attended Schenk Elementary and La Follette High School. Mike was known to be a hard worker and held various jobs throughout his life. He started work before the age of 16 and was resourceful finding jobs to earn extra money. He lived in Honolulu, Hawaii, several times working in the residential remodeling industry. He enjoyed his life there and often talked about returning. He also enjoyed helping his good friend Dave paint houses and apartments around the Madison area. Mike had an early gift and passion for art and excelled at drawing and painting. He enjoyed sharing this gift by teaching others. He loved music, especially live music, and saw many of the biggest bands during the 70’s. Mike was known to be strong willed and stubborn at times but had a heart of gold. He often said, if you only had $1 to your name, would you keep it or give it away? His life was not always easy but he lived it with courage and on his own terms. He never hesitated to help others in any way he could. Mike is survived by his son Joshua and granddaughter Carys; sisters Linda (Curt) Johnson, Karen Corbett, Bonnie Lincicum, Kathy Sturz; brothers Gary Lincicum (Mitsue), Robert Lincicum (Heather Hartwig), Thomas Lincicum, and several nieces and nephews. He is superseded in death by his parents, sister Barbara, and brother-in-law Jim Corbett. A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
