Mark T. Laskowski, age 69, of Lake Nebagamon, WI, formerly of Wisconsin Rapids passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2025
surrounded by family.
Mark was born June 19, 1955, in Milwaukee, WI to Edwin and Patricia (Gruba) Laskowski. He married Renita Jazdzewski on July 4, 1981, in Rudolph, WI.
Mark was employed at Consolidated Papers Inc. Wisconsin Rapids Division for over 30 years, retiring as a supercalender operator.
Mark had had a passion for the great outdoors and a love of golf, his soul finding its home amidst the wilderness, whether he was hunting, fishing, trapping, or on the golf course. His spirit of adventure extended to his numerous explorations at the boundary waters, with last September being his final one. His love for the outdoors was infectious, and he passed on his passion to all who knew him.
Mark had the remarkable ability to turn an ordinary day into a memorable one, especially when it came to his beloved grandchildren. Whether he was taking them on pontoon rides, canoeing down the Brule River, swimming with them, or treating them to Dairy Queen. Mark made every moment special. His legacy is reflected in their eyes, in their love for nature, and in the joy, they find in life's simple pleasures. Mark's life was a testament to the beauty of love, the joy of adventure, and the importance of family.
Mark is survived by his loving wife, Renita Laskowski; three children: Chris (Kimberly) Jazdzewski, Trina (Lance) Jacobson, and Heather (Jarvis) Jacobson; grandchildren: Jessica (Steve) Krause, Crystal (Daniel) Weiss, Joshua (Andy Sengkhammee) Pavlicek, Brandon (Jenny Zima) Jacobson, Alexis Jacobson, Delaney Jacobson, and Madalyn Jacobson; great-grandchildren: Charleigh, Alex, Natalie, Gunnar, Briley, Luca, Arias, and Ciaran; and his siblings: Michael (Doris) Laskowski, Mary Jo (Michael) Polodna, Marsha (John) Flamming, and Marlene (John) Fawley. He was preceded in death by his parents.
In honor of Mark's wishes, there will be no public visitation or service.
