Marianne spent her fruitful years dedicated to nurturing both plants and relationships. Her work at Lynn's Greenhouse in Stevens Point was more than just a job; it was a testament to her nurturing spirit. She found joy and fulfillment tending to the plants, just as she did with her relationships with family and friends.
Outside work, Marianne was an active member of St. John Lutheran Church in Kellner and St. John's Lutheran Women in Mission, where her faith and passion for community service shone brightly. Marianne spent 43 memorable seasons camping at Vista Royalle Campground in Bancroft with her late husband, Gene. Together, they cherished time spent sitting around the campfire eating a homecooked meal with those closest to her, gathering countless memories that she held dear.
Family was the cornerstone of Marianne's life, her love for her children and her grandchildren was boundless. She took great pleasure in attending their activities, always ready with Rice Krispie treats for family visits and trips to get ice cream which was her personal favorite. Marianne's presence was a comforting constant, her actions a testament to a life lived with purpose, generosity, and a profound love for those around her. Her spirit will forever live on through the countless lives she touched.
Marianne is survived by her children: Rick Timm and Wendy (Jeremy) Staven; grandchildren: Chelsea (Tyler) Jacoby, Jake Timm, Jillian Staven (Colton Flammini), and Josie Staven; great-grandchildren: Colt Jacoby and Raelyn Timm; sister, Susan (Dennis) Kromenaker; daughter-in-law, Amy (Kevin) Timm-Peterson; sisters-in-law: Cathy Timm and Linda Timm; brother-in-law, Harris (Nancy) Timm; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
