–

Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin

LeRoy "Lee" A. Trusty II, age 60, of Wisconsin Rapids, formerly of Kansas, passed away unexpectedly on May 29, 2025, in Wisconsin Rapids.

Lee was born February 23, 1965, in Leavenworth, Kansas to LeRoy and Clara (Kudra) Trusty but grew up in Missouri. He graduated college in Puerto Rico with a bachelor’s degree in business and owned and operated an automobile dealership prior to moving to Wisconsin Rapids to be closer to his sister, Linda.

Lee was a man of many talents and interests and found joy and tranquility in the simple pleasures of life. His soul came to life when he was on the golf course, his focus and dedication mirrored in his precise swings. Fishing was his meditation, a chance to reflect and connect with nature. Music was his sanctuary, and he found solace in the strumming of his guitar, his fingers creating melodies that echoed his unique spirit. Lee was a avid bowler and found great joy with his bowling team.

He will be deeply missed by his sister, Linda Gentry, who was his confidante and friend; two sons: Jack and Ben whom he adored; and many nieces and nephews. Lee is preceded in death by his parents; son, Kyle; and brother, Robert.

A celebration of Lee's life will be held from 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at the Roger T. Sermon Community Center, 201 North Dodgion, Independence, MO 64050 - South Room (2nd Floor).
