Kim Davis

Kim Ann Davis, age 66, of Nekoosa, WI (Town of Rome) began her heavenly journey on February 1, 2024.

Visitation will be from 11:00-1:00 P.M., followed by a memorial service at 1:00 P.M., on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home, 2201 Chestnut Street, Wisconsin Rapids.

Kim was born on September 30, 1957 in Chicago, IL to Bruce and Dorothy (Kuhl) Beck. She married Glenn Davis on November 17, 1974 in Glendale Heights, IL.

Kim graduated from McHenry County College with an associates degree. She worked as an assistant school teacher in Marengo, IL and later as an administrative secretary for the college dean at McHenry County College, retiring in 2012.

Kim's hobbies and passions painted a vivid picture of her zest for life. She had an exceptional talent for transforming ordinary items into treasures through her crafts. Her love for scrapbooking, handmade cards, and Christmas ornaments was only surpassed by her joy in sharing these creations with others. Kim's flower garden was a testament to her nurturing soul and her love for beauty. Living on a hobby farm, Kim found immense joy in caring for her animals, especially her horses, which were a source of endless delight for her.

Kim is survived by her husband Glenn; three sons: Dan (Jessica) Davis, Jonathan Davis, and Jeffrey (Katrina Rapacz) Davis; eight grandchildren: Baylee Muench, Cole Davis, Ella Davis, Mach Neff, Caleb Davis, Devin Davis, Jacob Davis, and Brody Davis; brother Bruce (Lisa) Beck; and three sisters: Tammy Beck, Christie (Tom) Christensen, and Pamela (Oscar) Garza. She is preceded in death by her parents Bruce Beck and Dorothy and George Klatt.
