Joan A. Hedin-Borba

Joan A. Hedin-Borba, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, was born on July 13, 1959, in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Known by many as an avid Green Bay Packer Fan, Joan lived her life with a spirit of warmth, love, and generosity that touched everyone around her. She was a pillar in her family and community, always ready with a comforting word, a helping hand, or a freshly baked batch of cookies. Her passion for life was evident in her love for campfires, game show network watching, and most importantly, spending precious moments with her beloved granddaughter Sabot.
Joan is survived by her loving husband, Blaine Borba; her son, Dustin (Annthea) Knoll; her siblings, John Christy, Missy (Ken Pioprowski) Christy, and Vicki Travis; her cherished granddaughter, Sabot Knoll. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Rita Christy, and her granddaughter, Mirari Knoll.
A visitation will be held in her honor on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at 9:00 am CDT at the Herman-Taylor Funeral Home & Cremation Center. This will be followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am CDT.
