Jayme J. Lafler Obituary (1961 - 2024) - Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin

Jayme J. Lafler, age 62 passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at Wisconsin Rapids Health Services. He was born on September 27, 1961, in Milwaukee, the son of Merle and Phyllis (Huebner) Lafler. Jayme graduated from Washington High School. Jayme married Diane Dolge on September 4, 1982, in Random Lake. He drove trucks for Heartland Potato Farms for many years. Jayme loved the outdoors, you could find him gardening, fishing or hunting. Or playing outside with his deeply loved pets. He also had a passion for fixing things. Jayme is survived by his son, Jayme (Rosalynn Rabe) Lafler Jr.; daughters, Samatha (Brent Krueger) Lafler and Shannon (Shawn Garrison) Lafler; his step-son, Don Gable; brother, George (Leann) Govas; sister, June “Pudgy” (John) Peil and Tere Lafler; 11 grandchildren, Michael McDonald, Addison Lafler, Hoytt Lafler-Berkholtz, Brynleigh Lafler-Berkholtz, Morghan Garrison, Krystal Garrison, Shawn Jr. “June Bug” Garrison, Aubreigh Garrison, Evilynn Garrison, Brisynn Garrison and Tiegan Garrison; he is further survived by his beloved Saint Bernand “Dixie Mae” and his cat “Stella”. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Diane, brother, Lance (Jacalyn) Lafler and by his nephew Eric Lafler. The family would like to thank the staff at Riverview Hospital, Wisconsin Rapids Health Services and Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice for all the care they gave Jayme.
