Heather Liebenstein

Heather J. Liebenstein, age 50, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
A Celebration of Heather's Life will be held from 4:00-8:00 P.M. on Monday, November 27, 2023 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids.
Heather was born May 3, 1973 in Wisconsin Rapids to Dennis and Jane (Ratelle) Liebenstein. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1992.
Heather was a bartender at Anchor Bay where she spent over a decade pouring not just drinks, but also love, laughter, and camaraderie into the lives of her patrons. With every pour, every smile, every joke, Heather transformed the bar into a haven of friendship and community. Her passion for people was not confined to her profession. She was very outgoing, her love for boating in the summer, taking her kids to the Wisconsin Dells, and her trips to Las Vegas were a testament to her adventurous spirit. Her love for flower gardening and holiday decorating filled her home, and the lives of her family, with beauty and celebration.
Heather is survived by her partner of 31 years, Dean Saylor; children, Rachel and Zachary; her parents, Dennis and Jane Liebenstein; special friends, Katie Tufte, Dawn Collins, and Deb Hall; and her beloved pets: Riley, Rocky, and Jack. She is preceded in death by her grandparents and her beloved pets, Rascal and Star.
