Georgianne Opalewski

Georgianne Opalewski, age 68, passed peacefully at Birch Hill in Shawano WI. Georgianne was born in Butler WI on September 1, 1958, to Vivian and George Opalewski.

Georgianne enjoyed the outdoors, cooking, traveling and spending time with family. She was a big Green Bay Packer fan and enjoyed watching the games.

Georgianne is survived by three daughters. Heather Lynn, Sara Louella (Matthew), Alyssa Rose (David) and 9 Grandchildren. Brother Timothy (Victoria) and her sister Julianne. Sister in laws Lois and Kristine, and many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers William, Thomas,
and Daniel (Rita).

A special thanks to the Birch Hill staff for all the compassion and care over the years and Chaplim Matt from Compassus Hospice for the spiritual guidance. Also, thanks to Todd for always making sure her tv was set to watch the Packer games.

There will be a graveside Christian service and burial at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery town of Montello Friday October 2 at 1:00 pm. Father Paulraji Sellman will preside.
