Gaven V. Goretski

–

Nekoosa, Wisconsin

Gaven V. Goretski, age 9, of Nekoosa, passed away from an unknown brain disease in his mother’s arms surrounded by his loving family.
The family is having a private family service on Tuesday, February 20, 2024.
Gaven was born on February 10, 2015, to Matthew Glodowski and Felicia Goretski in Wausau, WI.
Despite his tender age, Gaven had a zest for life that was unparalleled. He was a keen explorer of the great outdoors, taking delight in simple pleasures such as playing with bubbles or going for walks. He had a special place in his heart for his beloved dog Luna, who was his faithful companion in all his little adventures. His love for worship music was profound, filling his world with melody and harmony. Each day, Gaven would eagerly look forward to snuggling in a soft blanket with his parents, with a good book, or watching his favorite cartoons, Paw Patrol or Power Rangers, adding joy to their cozy moments together.
His life, which was full of vibrancy and warmth, deeply touched everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. Loving, funny, and compassionate, Gaven would spread happiness wherever he went sharing his contagious laughter, his wide-eyed curiosity, and his love for his parents and family were the essence of who he was.
What mattered most to Gaven however, was the precious time he spent with his parents and close family. He cherished every moment with them, his giggles and laughter echoing in their home, filling it with love and warmth.
Gavens life, though brief, was a celebration of love, joy, and pure happiness. Let us remember him for the happiness he brought into our lives, the laughter he shared, and the love he so freely gave. We invite everyone who knew him to commemorate his life by sharing their memories, and photos of Gaven on his memorial page. The light that was Gaven will forever shine in our hearts.
