Franklin Lindsay

Franklin E. Lindsay, age 74, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2026, at his residence.

A private family service is being planned for a later date.

Franklin was born on February 23, 1951, in Anchorage, Alaska to William and Darlene Lindsay. He was united in marriage to Monica Lindsay on November 20, 1984, in Kissimmee, Florida; they were blessed with forty-one years of marriage. He worked for his own business, Lindsay Wallpaper and Painting.

Franklin had a deep passion for woodworking, especially in creating handcrafted birdhouses, a beloved Santa Claus and reindeer set, and many other cherished creations. He also loved fishing and hunting, found joy in gardening, and took pleasure in baking for those he cared about.

Franklin is survived by his wife, Monica Lindsay; children: Jessica Clark- Lindsay, Rachael (Henry) Sherman, and Joshua (Shirley) Lindsay; grandchildren: Elijah Lindsay, Isahia Lindsay, Amyrah Lindsay, Jada Lindsay, Jace Lindsay, Jori Martin, Aiden Sherman, and Addison Deckard; brother: Jay Lindsay-Char. Also survived by many great-grandchildren and a niece.

He is preceded in death by his parents William and Darlene Lindsay and brothers, Todd Lindsay and Mark Lindsay.
