Frances Mack

Frances M. Mack, age 85, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2024 at the home of her daughter surrounded by family and loved ones.

Frances was born on June 25, 1939, in Beaver Dam, WI. She was united in marriage to James B. Mack on May 15, 1959 in Beaver Dam.

She was a woman of strength, resilience, and immeasurable love for her family and friends. The beautiful tapestry of her life was woven with threads of simplicity, hard work, and an unyielding spirit, which radiated warmth and inspired those around her.

Frances worked at Monarch Range in Beaver Dam from 1960-1985, then as a dedicated retail associate at Kwik Trip until her retirement in 2006. Frances touched countless lives with her kindness, empathy, and an ever-welcoming smile. Every customer was a friend, and every interaction an opportunity to share a moment of joy or comfort. Outside of work, Frances was a loving mother, a friend to all, an avid fisher, and a gardener who found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life. Her garden was an apt reflection of her life - rich, colorful, and full of love.

Frances is survived by four sons: Randy (Ann) Mack, Brian (Mary) Mack, Joey (Paula) Mack, John (Andrea) Mack; three daughters: Roxanne Mack, Dawn (Mark) Greinsteiner, and Pamela Mack; 12 grandchildren: Jesse, Michael, David, Jonathan, Jennifer, Jared, Michelle, Dylan, Anthony, Paula, Trent, and Sarah; many great-grandchildren; two brothers: David Nickel and Tommy (Kathy) Nickel; and one sister, Kathy Westfall. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband James; and two sisters: Virginia and Audrey.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
