Eva became a naturalized citizen on May 6, 1958, a moment of immense pride and accomplishment. The Horns made their retirement home in Nekoosa, Wisconsin. A devoted homemaker, she poured her love and energy into her family and her faith. An active member of Woodland Lutheran Church, Eva also served as a member of the Woodland Church Quilters, stitching together not only beautiful quilts but also lasting friendships.

Eva is survived by her son, Roland (RuthAnne) Horn; her grandson, Collin (Dawn) Steenken; her great grandson, Cillian Steenken; and a special friend, Joan (Jim) Winkler. The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Nekoosa Court and Heartland Hospice for their compassion and care of Eva.
