Esther Ogilvie

Esther F. Ogilvie, age 105, of Wisconsin Rapids passed away Monday, March 4, 2024 at Renaissance Assisted Living in Wisconsin Rapids.
Services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids. Rev. Carlton Andersen will officiate. Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services on Thursday at the church.
Esther was born June 10, 1918 in Nekoosa, WI to William and Elsa (Randecker) Wittenberg. She married Robert Ogilvie on August 15, 1950 in Nekoosa, WI. They were blessed with 65 years of marriage. Robert passed away on July 18, 2015.
Esther was a longtime active member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids. She loved quilting and made many quilts with the church’s Dorcas Circle. She also enjoyed coloring, painting, and traveling.
Esther is survived by her children: John (Jane VanDerlip) Ogilvie of Cumming, GA, Joann (Michael) King of Prosperity, SC, and Jane (David) Umnus of La Crosse; six grandchildren: Rachel Ogilvie, Seth (Noelle) King, Ellisha (Sean) Williams, Colleen Umnus, Benjamin (Kathryn) Umnus, and Sarah (Marc Cirinna) VanDerlip; and nine great-grandchildren: Malachi, Josiah, Nehemiah, Vivenne, Esther, Harrison, Quentin, Scarlett, and Jude. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert; and brothers Arthur Wittenberg, William Wittenberg, and Fredrick Wittenberg.
