Elaine M. Johnson

–

Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin

Elaine M. Johnson, born on March 29, 1934, in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, was a warm beacon of love and nurturing, whose life was an embodiment of selfless devotion and unyielding strength. Elaine's legacy is a rich tapestry of cherished memories; interwoven with the countless lives she touched. A graduate of Lincoln High School, Elaine's diligent work ethic was evident early on. She worked in the office at Consolidated Papers until the day she married the love of her life William "Spark" Johnson on November 28, 1953, thereafter, dedicating herself to the full-time job of creating a loving home for her family.

Elaine’s life was a testament to the joy of simplicity. She found immense pleasure in crafting, a hobby that mirrored her life's work — creating something beautiful and enduring from the humblest of materials. Alongside her beloved husband, Elaine spent many winters in McAllen, Texas, their shared adventures and shared laughter deepening the bonds of their lifelong partnership. Elaine's love for her family was her compass, guiding her actions and illuminating her path.

Elaine leaves behind a family who adored her and who will carry her memory in their hearts always: her children, Douglas (Lori) Johnson, Linda (Steve) Fritsche, and Bill (Cheryl) Johnson; her grandchildren, Jason (Jade) Johnson, Derek Johnson, Ryan (Melissa Radomski) Johnson, Lindsey (Adam) Fuehrer, Gina (Brian) Heath, Kristin (Nick) Hahn, Stephanie (Jamie) Lecy, her great-grandchildren, Hayden and Halle Heath, Jemini and Jazmyne Johnson, Eli, Owen and Delayne Hahn, Kinley, Finn, and Blayke Lecy, Mia, Lucas, and Noah Fuehrer. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Susie Wendt. Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Frances Reinert, her husband William "Spark" in 2007, her brothers-in-law, Marvin Reinert and Terry Wendt, Bob Johnson and her sisters-in-law, Pat Reinert and Joan Johnson.
