Elaine Korslin

Elaine M. Korslin, age 74, passed away on July 20, 2024, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

A funeral service for Elaine will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at Wisconsin Rapids Moravian Church. Rev. Beth Rohn-Habhegger will officiate. Visitation for family and friends is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services Wednesday at the church. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery

She was born on December 2, 1948, in Stevens Point, WI to Arthur and Myrtle (Wirth) Schroeder. Elaine married John A. Korslin on October 21, 1972, in Wisconsin Rapids, WI.

She was an enthusiastic fan of the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers. She loved cardinals, birdwatching, fishing and bowling. Elaine was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Elaine is survived by her husband John; daughters, Marcie Brown and Nicole (Leo) Moffett; grandchildren, Asa, Avery, Aaden, Lily, Gwen and Gracie; brother, George Schroeder; sisters, Irene (Louie) Vetrone, Delores (Gene) Harper, Micki Werner and Sally (Ron) Anderson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Shirley, Virginia, Jerry, Donny, Robert, Athur and Fred; and son-in-law, Tom Brown.
