Doris M. Krueger

Doris Mae Krueger, age 78 was reunited with her dear husband John on Sunday, March 24, 2024. She was born on December 12, 1945, in Wisconsin Rapids the daughter of Louis and Edna (Manthey) Perkins. Doris married Delbert Wittenberg, they later divorced. She married John H. Krueger in 1991 he preceded her in death on June 30, 2023.
Doris enjoyed baking and cooking, especially for family get-togethers, trips to the casino, she loved her cat, Heidi, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and being very involved in her grandchildren’s events.
Throughout the years Doris worked at Riverview Hospital, Stoiber Chiropractic, Dr. Charles Haddock Podiatry, and in later years she worked with her good friend Lois Frank at Grandma’s Café.
Doris is survived by her children, Lori Stevens, Todd (Kelly) Wittenberg and Jennifer Zuehlke, Pamela (Steve Winker) Krueger-Winker, and Dale Anderson; grandchildren, Brooke, Katie, Courtney, Jordan, Dylan, Logan, Jesse (Makaylah), Emily (Sam) Stevi, Jessica, Samantha, Craig and Cutler; 18 great grandchildren; brother, Bill Perkins, and brother-in-law LeRoy Hamm; special friends Judy Jackson, Elaine Fisa and George and Sharon Livernash. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John, her infant son, Scott Wittenberg, her sister Dawn Hamm and by her sister-in-law Kay Perkins.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 1, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Herman-Taylor Funeral Home with the Reverend Timothy Ritter presiding. Visitation will be held on Monday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the services at the funeral home.
