Donna Lee Stadt Obituary (1948 - 2024) - Port Edwards, Wisconsin

Donna Lee Stadt, age 75, passed away on Wednesday March 6, 2024, at her home. She was born on august 28, 1948 in International Falls, Minnesota. The daughter of Charles and Lena (Uhryn) Johnson. Donna was born in International Falls, MN but spent most of her life in Elk River, MN with her husband Jerry. They built a home together that was their sanctuary and she loved to spend time entertaining anyone who would stop by. Donna loved to prepare special meals for her guests and treat them like they were at a bed and breakfast. In the summer Donna spent most of her time gardening, building the most beautiful gardens wherever she could. In the winter, she enjoyed creating new projects with her husband Jerry and decorating her home with all their creations. Donna also very much enjoyed her politics and would let everyone know exactly how she felt about the daily news. Donna was a very giving person who found true joy in giving whether it was a gift for someone or helping someone in need. Giving made her heart happy. Donna was the one who was a gift and will be missed tremendously. Donna is survived by her son, Mitchell Kalar; her daughter Tiffany (Chip) Stone; grandchildren, Ashley (Lincoln) Kalar-Miller and Evan Walkoviak. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gerald “Jerry” Stadt; and by her brothers, Charles B. Johnson Jr and Lanny “Butchy” Johnson. Per Donna's wishes she wanted to pass without a service or celebration of life. A special thank you to the caring people at Compassus whose hearts were there to support us every step of the way.
