Davis Nicholls

Davis, you gave this world an incredibly amazing 16 years, 1 month, and 13 days with you in it and I couldn't feel more blessed and fortunate to have been your person through it all. You loved our whole family with all your heart but you were always My 'special chocolate boy', my dancing Davis, my confidant, best friend, loyal companion, fiercest protector, health assistant (you walked beside me and in front of me on my worst health days until the very end), my lawn mowing partner, hide and seek player (with the kids), my passenger seat filler, my foot warmer, my snuggle buddy, bed hogging, treat loving, dinner sharing companion (you never cared if I burned a meal), my most spirited supporter, the guy who loved me through all the ups and downs of life all these years and never cared what I could, or couldn't, do based on my health struggles day to day. Thank you, Davis, for every second, for all your love and acceptance, for being my bestest friend your whole life. My life will never be the same without you here, but you will never leave my heart, and I will always carry you with me until we meet again one day, after all, what would Heaven be without dogs?!?! We will always love you sweet boy!
