Darby E. Robinson

–

Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin

Darby E. Robinson, born on January 12, 1974, in Aurora, Illinois, was a man of hearty laughter and boundless energy. With his ever-present coffee or Mt. Dew in hand, Darby had an infectious spirit that radiated and filled the room. Known for his playful antics, he had a knack for scaring people, always followed by loud laughter that would echo through the room. A true child at heart, Darby lived each day to the fullest, reminding all who knew him of the importance of joy and light-heartedness in life.

Darby was a dedicated employee at Wheels of Independence and served the Wisconsin Rapids community as a driver, providing medical transportation. Despite the seriousness of his profession, Darby never missed an opportunity to bring a smile to his passengers' faces, brightening their day with his jovial demeanor. Outside work, he was a passionate lover of classic cars, often seen at car shows or tinkering with his prized '63 Ford Fairlane. Known to spend hours chatting with fellow car enthusiasts, Darby's love for life was contagious. He was also an avid fisherman and a skilled Lego builder, hobbies that he often shared with his family.

Darby was a beloved husband to Tracie, cherished father to Deven (fiancé Mickey Gumney) Robinson and Dustie (Michael) McLellan and a doting grandfather to Dominic Robinson. He was the son of Dennis and Nancy Robinson, the brother of David (Debra), Duane (Jaylene), Dale (girlfriend Kayla McDowell), Delores (Donald) Ballerstein, Danaca (Lenor) Hernandez, and Chelsea (Jonathon) Hossfeld; his cherished nieces and nephews, he was also a friend to many. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Omar Robinson, Yvonne Najemnik, and Anthony Najemnik. Despite the pain of this loss, the memory of Darby's laughter, his zest for life, and his love for his family will forever remain in our hearts.
