Daniel A. Kobishop

Daniel A. Kobishop, age 62, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2024, following a bout with stage 4 cancer. He was born on March 15, 1962, in Wisconsin Rapids, the son of Delbert and Margaret (Blanchard) Kobishop. Dan graduated from Lincoln High School. He worked for many years until his retirement in the paper manufacturing industry as well as for Gaynor Cranberry Company. Dan was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed, hunting, fishing, trapshooting as well as stock car racing, truck and tractor pulls and car shows. He loved sharing his knowledge and hobbies with his nephews Alex and Jessy.
Dan is survived by his brother, Delbert Kobishop Jr.; his sister, De Ann (Patrick) Collins; his nephews, Alex (Heather) Doering and Jessy (Jamie) Doering; his great nephew and nieces, Colby Combs, Bella Doering, Madalyn and Brooklyn Doering. He is further survived by his partner-in-crime Brian Kruger and by other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his brother Donald Kobishop.
UPDATE - A celebration of his life will be held on Friday August 16, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Nepco Lake Enclosed Shelter.
