Connie Finney

Connie M. Finney, age 72, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

Connie was born on October 17, 1951 in Rio, WI to Neldon and Margaret (Wodill) Peterson. She married William “Bill” Finney on December 18, 1975. They had two sons, Bob and Paul.

Connie worked for American Family Insurance for over 40 years. After retirement, she was a vendor at the Rome Farmers Market for 12 years. She loved quilting and making fabric crafts. She always looked forward to the annual 4th of July parties with family and friends.

Connie is survived by her sons: Bob Finney and Paul (Kristen Kadrmas) Finney; her granddaughter, Ashley Finney; and her sister-in-law and her husband Kay (Thomas) Roney. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Rodney Peterson and Jerry Peterson; her sister Rachel Peterson Bernander; and her mother and father-in-law William and Reba (Wheeler) Finney.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 – 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at the VFW Post 7591, 301 Cottage Grove Road, Madison, WI. Hope everyone can join us.
