Cecilia Gilbertson

Cecilia J. Gilbertson, age 89, of Wisconsin Rapids passed away Thursday, September 10, 2026 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

Cecilia was born June 25, 1937 in La Mars, Iowa to Robert and Ann Ironside. She married John E. Gilbertson on May 5, 1956 in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Survivors include her husband, John; one daughter, Pamela J. (Larry) Bliven of Athens, WI; two sons: John B. Gilbertson of Spokane, WA and Keith A. Gilbertson of Wisconsin Rapids; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; sisters: Alice (James) Anderson and Patricia (Frank) Bengert; brothers: Donald Ironside and Robert Ironside; and daughter-in-law, Dawn Gilbertson.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
