Carol Ann (Heller) McGrath

Carol Ann McGrath, age 79, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Sunday, October 22, 2023. She was born on July 26, 1944, in Drexal Hill, Pennsylvania. The daughter of Merrill and Margaret (Nolan) Heller. Carol married the love of her life, John McGrath Sr. on July 7, 1962, at St. Pius X Church in Broomall PA.
Carol was a dedicated housewife and day care provider. In her earlier years she enjoyed Camping, boating, and gardening. But most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Carol is survived by her husband of 61 years John P McGrath Sr; her children, John P. (Sandy) McGrath Jr. Carolyn A. (Ron) McGrath and James "Jimmy" (Renee) McGrath; her grandchildren Yvonne (Casey) Hermann, Junior (Cara) Hermann, Johnny McGrath III, Casey (Adam) Domine, Shawn (Jazmin) McGrath, Samantha (Sam) McKinney, Nathan McGrath and Brooke McGrath; great grandchildren, Chase, Aubrey, Avery, Audrina, Arya, Stella, Emma, Dayton, Amelia, Kaiden and Archie; and by a sister Jean Thompson she is further survived by many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Judith McGrath; her grandson Joshua McGrath; her father-in-law James McCaffrey; her mother-in-law Catherine McCaffrey, and by her brother-in-law Bob Thompson.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Phillip Catholic Cemetery in Rudolph.
