Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin
Beverly Ann Luebke, age 83, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at Cranberry Court memory care surrounded by the love of her family.
Beverly was born on January 19, 1943, in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, to the late Raymond and Vivian Hallada. She was raised on the family farm, where she learned from an early age the importance of hard work, perseverance and resourcefulness. She graduated from Mishicot High School in 1961, carrying those lessons throughout her life.
On a summer evening in 1962, Beverly met the love of her life, Keith Luebke, beginning a partnership that would span more than six decades. They were married in a small church in Tisch Mills and went on to share 62 wonderful years together. Side by side, they raised three daughters and built a loving home filled with warmth, laughter, and countless cherished memories. Through all of life’s seasons, Beverly and Keith remained devoted to one another, creating a life rich in family, friendship, and love.
Beverly was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother who always put her family first. While Keith worked long hours on the railroad, Beverly was the steady heart of their home. She devoted herself to raising their three daughters and supporting them in all their activities while serving as a Girl Scout leader.
Later in life, Beverly continued to care for others through her work, earning her nursing assistant degree from Mid-State Technical College before working as a CNA and in different administrative roles throughout Central Wisconsin.
Beverly possessed many talents and passions. She was an accomplished artist who loved painting and turning flowers and leaves into beautiful works of art. She was also a talented seamstress, who lovingly sewed handmade clothing for her daughters. But perhaps she was best known for her extraordinary gift for gardening. Her vibrant, colorful flower gardens became well known throughout the Wisconsin Rapids area. Beverly proudly opened her gardens to the community twice through the Master Gardeners Garden Walk, finding joy in creating beautiful spaces for others to admire and enjoy.
Giving back to others and the willingness to share her time and talents was what defined Beverly. She was an active member of the Grand Rapids Lions Club.
She also enjoyed attending Green Bay Packers games with Keith, bowling, golfing with friends, and most of all, spending time with her extended family.
Beverly also had a deep love of travel and adventure. She and Keith shared dozens of trips throughout the United States, the Caribbean, and Europe, always making the most of their time together and embracing new experiences. Their travels also brought lasting friendships with people from around the world, many of which remained a cherished part of their lives long after the journeys ended.
Above all else, Beverly treasured her family. She was immensely proud of her daughters and adored her nine grandsons. She loved cheering them on at sporting events, graduations, and in all their interests and endeavors, often joking about the countless hours she spent on a bench or in the bleachers. Family gatherings and simple moments together brought her the greatest happiness.
Beverly is survived by her beloved husband, Keith; her daughters, Gwen Pierce of Kalispell, MT, Lisa (Ken) Korslin of Las Vegas, NV, and Renee (Dan) Hewitt of Wisconsin Rapids, along with her nine grandsons: Dudley “Odie” (Emily) Pierce, Keith Pierce, Raymond Pierce, Taylor Korslin, Paxton Korslin, Mason Korslin, Noah Hewitt, Keegan Hewitt and Nick Roepke.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond & Vivian Hallada. Her in-laws Corwain & Esther Luebke, and her brother-in-law Mike Luebke.
A funeral service to celebrate Beverly’s life will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1517 24th St. S in Wisconsin Rapids on Friday, September 4, 2026. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m-12 p.m with the service to follow at noon. Beverly will be laid to rest in private interment in Tisch Mills, Wisconsin at a later date.
The family would like to thank Cranberry Court memory care & the St. Croix hospice staff for their exceptional care of Beverly.
Beverly will be remembered for her strength, grace, creativity, kindness, and unwavering love for her family. Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and she will be deeply missed by all.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in Beverly’s name.
