Barbara Seidel

Barbara Ann Seidel, age 63, of Wisconsin Rapids, formerly of La Crosse, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at Wisconsin Rapids Health Services.

Barbara was born June 27, 1961 in Marshfield, WI to Roger and Lorraine (Whipple) Berdan. She married Jeffrey Seidel on September 10, 1983 in La Crosse, WI.

Barbara worked as a dietary aide at Gundersen Hospital in La Crosse before retiring due to disability.

Barbara had a love for the outdoors and the simple pleasures of life. She found joy in ATV riding, bible reading, and reminiscing about her youthful days spent running around her family farm, picking cucumbers in the garden, and swimming in the pond. She cherished her trips up north with her brother, Joseph and family, creating memories that will forever be etched in the hearts of her loved ones.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Sara Pangilinan; siblings: Diane (Angel Hinojosa) Berdan of Auburndale, Mary Nelson of Ohio, Jeffrey Berdan of Spotsylvania, VA, Joseph (Sue) Berdan of Wisconsin Rapids, Elizabeth Berdan of Wisconsin Rapids, and Sandra (Jonathan) Hauge of Holmen; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jeffrey.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Herman-Taylor Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the family.
