Andy Durand

Andy J. Durand, age 70, of Vesper, passed away Friday, March 13, 2026, at Aspirus Riverview Hospital.

Andy was born on October 17, 1955, in Wisconsin Rapids to Marshall and Darlene (Greubel) Durand.

He graduated from Pittsville High School in 1973, continued his education at Mid-State Technical College, and worked for 42 years as an industrial pipefitter in the paper manufacturing industry. He married Linda Zieher on October 18, 1980.

Andy had a deep love for the outdoors and found great joy hunting on his land, fishing, and, above all, spending time with his family.

Andy is survived by his wife, Linda, his son, Matthew (Sarah) Durand, his beloved granddaughter, Ella Durand, his mother-in-law, Beatrice Zieher, his brother-in-law, Doug Zieher, his sister-in-law, Patricia Zieher, several nieces and nephews, and his best friends Paul Freund and Ray Jung.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Marshall and Darlene, his father-in-law, Donald Zieher, and his brother-in-law, Dan Zieher.

Per the family’s wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial service.
