Alan R. Wolcott, age 76, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on January 25, 2025, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Lovingly known as Al, he was born on August 21, 1948, in Stevens Point, WI, the son of Andrew and Alice (Kowalski) Wolcott. Al was a man of strength, resilience, and warmth, who lived his life with an unwavering sense of duty and an infectious love for the great outdoors.

Al married his wife, Carolyn Peik, on January 19, 1969, and their love story unfolded in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin where they built a life together. However, his employment history was not limited to the manufacturing sector. Al had the honor of serving in the U.S. Army where he worked in military intelligence during the Vietnam War from 1969-1970, a chapter of his life that he was incredibly proud of. In his spare time, Al was a passionate hunter and fisherman, his love for these hobbies reflecting his deep connection to nature.

Al was the kind of man who left a lasting impression on those he met. His strength of character, combined with his genuine kindness, Al is survived by his wife Carolyn, his brothers Jerome (Jeanette) Wolcott, Douglas (Clara) Wolcott, and Gregory (Susan) Wolcott; his sister Loraine (Frank) Klevene, and his in-laws including Betty Worth, Ron Miller, Evelyn Mcbride, He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Alice Wolcott; his son Joseph Wolcott; his sister Bonita Miller; his in-laws Henry and Velma Peik, Roger Worth and Diane and Larry Hanneman and Robert Mcbride.
