Obituary for Alan Keith Fisher
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alan (Al) Keith Fisher, age 82, who left this world on January 22, 2025. Born on February 26, 1942, Al was a father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend whose legacy of love and craftsmanship will forever be remembered.
Al was preceded in death by his father, August, his mother, Lorraine, and his brother, Leland. He is survived by his beloved sons, Kevin Alan Fisher and Bradley James Fisher (Michelle), as well as his cherished daughter, Amy Kay Fisher. Al also leaves behind treasured family, including grandsons Bradley Jr., Jordan (Raquel), Alexander, and Trevor (Calipso), great-granddaughters Jillian, Claire, and Alaina, great-grandson Carson, and step-great-granddaughter Dalitzy.
As a skilled carpenter, Al possessed the remarkable ability to build and create anything. He worked his entire career at Marshfield Homes. His passion for craftsmanship was matched only by his love for the outdoors, especially fishing. He also enjoyed hunting with his sons. Al had a soft spot for his cat, Coco, enjoyed the thrill of NASCAR racing, and took immense pride in his Chevy truck and horse, Buck.
Al's warmth, humor, and unwavering support touched the lives of all who knew him. His family will carry forward the values he instilled in them, and his spirit will continue to shine brightly in their hearts.
A celebration of Al’s life will be held on February 3rd. Visitation 1:00-3:00 and memorial service at 3:00pm at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church 2011 10th Street South, Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Friends and family are invited to join in remembering a man who brought so much joy and creativity into the world.
